There are millions of people across the world coping with the symptoms of stress and overwhelm, and if unmanaged this can often lead on to burnout which may be coupled with depression.

When we are stressed, the body shifts its energy resources to prepare to fight off a perceived threat. This is known as the fight or flight response and it signals the adrenal glands to release adrenaline and cortisol.  These hormones create havoc in the body if the fight or flight response is happening repeatedly throughout the day which is exactly what is happening when we feel under pressure, over-loaded and run down.

The Executive Stress Programme

This programme is for you if everything feels too much and you are struggling to keep all of the balls in the air.  If you find yourself snapping at loved ones or are short-tempered, potentially experiencing panic attacks, feeling nervous, anxious or fidgety you are experiencing the symptoms of stress. Coffee, alcohol and maybe even cocaine will be your friend right now and your weight will be fluctuating.

You’ll be Wired and Tired, it will be feeling awful but the good news is, I can help you get back to being Calm & Together.

The programme will commence with a cortisol test and a full diagnostic review to understand if you are experiencing level 1 or level 2 stress. Once we know what we are dealing with, I’ll work with you for an hour every week for ten weeks applying a series of tools tailored to your needs.  These could include hypnosis, specific breathing techniques and the emotional freedom technique to reduce your stress levels.

I’ll work with you to review how you use stimulants and we’ll create a plan together to reduce these over the period, as well as working through the cognitive thinking cycle to evaluate the external stressors and take steps to eliminate these.


The Burnout Recovery Programme

If you are signed off work, stress has progressed to burnout and you’ll be feeling chronically fatigued, unable to cope with the usual pace of life and be battling with low mood. You may well be using food, alcohol or tobacco as a crutch and you’ll be fighting the urge to withdraw from everything around you.

You could have a low tolerance to cold and perhaps suffering with hypo-thyroid, asthma, eczema or other auto immune conditions. You will feel like the only thing you want to do is stay in bed and the GP may well be offering anti-depressants.

The Burnout Recovery Programme aims to get you back on your feet and into work, feeling refreshed and renewed. It covers everything that the Executive Stress Programme provides but with additional resilience sessions using Havening Techniques and a specific nutrition review.  The programme will run for 12 weeks and include a 16-sessions overall.

WhatsApp support will be provided throughout plus access to the Mindset Gym programme which will allow you to build resilience through the positive psychology interventions.
