Welcome to this week’s episode of The Mindset Mentor Meets Podcast which hears Angela interviewing Ruth Penfold, Launchpad BP.

About our guest

Ruth has spent the past few years building technology businesses from a People standpoint (Shazam and Onfido) is now working with Launchpad, BP’s new business builder.  Powered by plants, water and joy, Ruth believes passionately in the emerging role of People practice within businesses, and sees a huge opportunity to help businesses tap into creating the right environments for the people of tomorrow, whilst retaining the people for today.

About this show

Ruth says her proud moments are more about feelings and sharing your truth with others and that other peoples actions are her inspiration.

She talks about how as a child her thinking was that she was not good enough and that led her to enter into a toxic relationship that lasted until her 30’s. It was after that relationship ended she started to trust herself with the decisions she was making and made a total commitment to herself.

Ruth feels that you don’t have to have a leadership role to be a leader, lead from where you stand, lead on issues that matter to you, find your voice in other ways. Start wherever you are.

Her biggest lesson she has learnt over the last 10 years, is that she is great just as she is.

An uplifting and inspiring half hour.
